About Me

Kathryn Gilbert was born in Montana and raised everywhere else. She currently resides in Wyoming. She has been interested in creative writing since the third grade and has made it her dream to become a published fiction novelist. She has won four National Novel Writing Months in a row beginning in 2014. Her 2017 project, Follow the Raven, was a rewrite of a horrible first draft she wrote in 2011 and is the story she is hoping will become her first published novel. She plans to begin revising and editing said project in 2018 and beyond.

Gilbert is a huge Sonic the Hedgehog and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan. She also enjoys My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and The Ancient Magus’ Bride. In her free time she likes reading (her TBR pile is out of control and she has no regrets), singing, and fangirling over the things listed above.
